This year’s Internet Domain Day of Serbia, which will be held on March 12, 2024, in Belgrade Youth Center, will initiate some interesting stories about artificial intelligence that we probably don’t have anyone to talk with but would like to.
The first keynote lecture on the topic of artificial intelligence will be given by Emily Roberts, a Ph.D. holder in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, specializing in the areas of digital ethics and security.
Her topic will be Fighting Harassment in the Deepfake Era, where she will specifically address the complex issues surrounding cyber-harassment and deepfakes, providing valuable insights and solutions that can contribute to our safer digital environment.
As part of the panel, The Beginning of a Big Change moderated by Slobodan Marković, digital advisor at UNDP, our interlocutors on the subject of AI will be Dane Blačić, creative technologist and winner of the Emmy Award for Technical Excellence, Marijana Borković, Communications Manager at the RNIDS Foundation, Danijel Milošević, copywriter and brand strategist, Đorđe Krivokapić, Associate Professor of ICT law at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, and Miloš Skokić, Co-founder and Creative Director of the “Žiška” agency.
Far from the tabloids and the sphere of sensationalism, they will – each from their point of view – bring the specifics related to artificial intelligence to the conference participants and its importance in a real-life environment.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear what Vojislav-Voja Žanetić says about AI and the End of the Great Change. This leading brand strategist and mentor says: “We can fantasize or joke about the possible consequences of artificial intelligence. Or both, in the absence of a crystal ball that looks clearly into an unpredictable future.”
We will find out on March 12 whether the big beginning or the big end of change awaits us in the domain of AI. Or both.
The DIDS 2024 conference will take place in the classic live event format, and the organizer will broadcast the conference via its YouTube channel.
Attendance at the conference is free. Due to the limited number of places, visitor registration through the DIDS 2024 website is mandatory.
