The traditional Serbian Internet Domain Day will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in Belgrade Youth Center.

With its topics, speakers, panelists, and participants, DIDS 2024 will delve deep into the hot field of artificial intelligence (AI).

The organizer, the Registry of the National Internet Domain of Serbia (RNIDS) Foundation, is holding this year’s event under the slogan The Future is Now, which highlights the fact that phenomena once reserved for the realm of science fiction are becoming an increasingly present reality.

Leading lecturers and panelists will be included in this year’s edition of the DIDS conference, too.

We highlight the keynote address by Dr. Emily Roberts, who holds a doctorate in the field of AI and machine learning, and who will talk about the fight against cyberbullying in the era of deep fakes.

The lecture Psychological Dynamics of Social Engineering by Ina Poljak will look at how social engineering can be a fascinating way of abusing technology and psychology, and how to prepare for risks and defend against manipulations.

Voja Žanetić will join the team of eminent lecturers with the keynote lecture The Finale of the Great Change, in which he will tell us about how AI is changing the world.

Under the moderation of Slobodan Marković, digital advisor at UNDP, and Marijana Borković from RNIDS marketing team an AI panel will be held with the following speakers: Dane Blačić, Danijel Milošević, Đorđe Krivokapić and Miloš Skokić. Each from their respective point of view (technology, law, marketing), will bring the problems related to artificial intelligence to the conference participants, as well as its importance in the real business and general social environment.

Part of the event is reserved for the presentation of the results of research on the prevention of online security risks for small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as for the success story of the Lokalac na internetu project.

As every year, the event supports the presence and spread of the Cyrillic alphabet on the domestic Internet. This time under the moderation of prof. Dr. Slavica Cicvarić Kostić “Cyrillic in branding” panel will be held with the following speakers: Jana Ošorlić, Slavoljub Stanković, Dušan Simić and Slavimir Futro. After that, Dušan Stojičević will hold a lecture “Cyrillic on the Internet – for and against”.

DIDS 2024 will be held in the classic live event format, and the organizer will broadcast the conference via its YouTube channel.

Attendance at the conference is free. Due to the limited number of places, visitor registration through the DIDS2024 website is mandatory.
